About Me
Steve Hart, PMP
I am the Delivery Manager responsible for managing the project portfolio for the Cardinal Solutions Group in the Raleigh-Durham area. I have 25+ years of project management and technical leadership roles, and have developed an extensive and practical knowledge that spans a wide variety of industries, and project delivery approaches. As a practicing PMP, I am a member of the North Carolina PMI.
I have enjoyed educating and mentoring project managers on project management best practices for many years. This mentoring focuses on the practical application of project management concepts, processes, and tools to improve project delivery outcomes. In December 2010, my friend and colleague, Steve Pietrek, talked to me about starting to share these best practices on-line in the form of a blog. Equipped with Steve’s motivation and inspiration, I shifted some of my passion and energy to creating this blog, pm-foundations.com. The goal of this blog is simply to share knowledge/ideas and collaborate/connect with those that share my interests and passion for project management.
On a personal note, I am a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with an MBA from the University of Dayton. My wife and I lived in Dayton, Ohio for 30+ years before moving to Raleigh in October 2010. I am an avid sports fan with particular interest in the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Miami RedHawks.
Note: In August 2018, Cardinal Solutions was acquired by Insight. We will be joining forces with two other recent acquisitions to form a strong team within Insight called Digital Innovations.
